Die NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies) ist die für Software zuständige indische Handelskammer. Als nicht gewinnorientierte Organisation, die vollständig von ihren Mitgliedsunternehmen finanziert wird, spielt die NASSCOM eine führende Rolle bei der Qualitätssicherung von Software und bei Fragen des geistigen Eigentums in Indien. Im Januar 2009 waren mehr als 1200 indische und internationale IT-Unternehmen (sowohl Staatsunternehmen als auch private) Mitglied bei NASSCOM.
