Western Intercollegiate Hockey LeagueHauptsitz Denver, Colorado Vorsitzender Bruce McLeod Die Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) ist eine US-amerikanische Universitäts- und Collegesportliga, die vor allem im Mittleren Westen sowie im Westen der Vereinigten Staaten angesiedelt ist. Sie gehört zur Division I der National Collegiate Athletic Association und ist eine reine Eishockey-Conference.
Bis 2006 gewannen Teams der WCHA fünfmal in Folge die Eishockeymeisterschaft der NCAA und zugleich sieben der letzten zehn Austragungen. Die Frauenmannschaften der Collegiate Hockey Association gewannen alle Meisterschaften der NCAA seit deren Einführung 2001.
Die WCHA wurde 1951 als „Midwest Collegiate Hockey League“ (MCHL) gegründet, doch schon 1953 wurde die Liga in „Western Intercollegiate Hockey League“ (WIHL) umbenannt. Seit 1959 trägt die Conference den aktuellen Namen. Der Meister der regulären Saison erhält den MacNaughton Cup, während der Sieger der Finalrunde die Broadmoor Trophy verliehen bekommt.
