Kelurahan

Das Dorf (Indonesisch: Kelurahan oder Desa) ist die unterste staatliche Verwaltungsebene in Indonesien. Diese Bezeichnung wird auch auf Städte angewandt. Die nächsthöhere Verwaltungsstufe ist der Distrikt (Kecamatan).

Ein Desa wird von einem gewähltem Häuptling (kepala desa) geleitet. Ein Kelurahan wird von einem Dorfältesten geleitet. In Aceh und anderen Teilen Indonesiens wird ein Dorf Kampung genannt.
