Ride Like the Wind ist ein Lied von Christopher Cross aus dem Jahr 1980, das von ihm geschrieben und produziert wurde. Es erschien auf dem Album Christopher Cross.

Geschichte

Dem Inlay de Albums zufolge ist dieses Lied dem ehemaigen Little Feat-Frontmann Lowell George, der 1979 verstarb gewidmet. der Backgroundgesang stammt von Michael McDonald Laut einem Interview mit dem Gitarristen Eric Johnson von 2001, berichtete Johnson von seinem Gitarrenspiel im Lied, jedoch nichts von der endgültigen Version des Liedes.

Die Veröffentlichung war am 15. Februar 1980.
