Silvino Francisco (* 3. Mai 1946) ist ein ehemaliger südafrikanischer Snookerprofi.

Leben

Francisco zog 1982 von Südafrika nach Großbritannien, um dort als Snookerprofi zu leben. Seinen größten Erfolg hatte er bei den British Open 1985, als er Kirk Stevens im Finale mit 12:9 bezwang. 1987 erreichte er mit Position 10 seine höchste Platzierung in der Weltrangliste. Wegen eines Cannabis-Schmuggels wurde Francisco 1997 zu drei Jahren Gefängnis verurteilt.[1]

Familie

Silvino Franciscos Bruder Mannie war Finalist der Amateur-WM im Snooker.[2] Sein Neffe Peter schaffte es bis auf Platz 14 der Weltrangliste.
