Fjörgyn

Fjörgyn oder Fjörgynn, Fiörgyn (altnord. „Erde“) ist der Name zweier Gestalten aus der nordischen Mythologie.

Im Hárbarðslióð[1] und in der Völuspá[2] ist Fjörgyn ein Name für Jörd, die Mutter des Gottes Thor.

Im Skáldskaparmál[3] und in der Lokasenna[4] ist Fjörgyn der Vater der Göttin Frigg.
