Bernardo Storace (* um 1637; † um 1707) war ein italienischer Komponist und Organist der Barockzeit.

Leben

Alles Wissen über das Leben Storaces stammt aus dem Vorwort zu seiner 1664 in Venedig veröffentlichten Sammlung "Selva di varie compositioni d'intavolatura per cimbalo et organo". Hier gibt er sich als Vizekapellmeister des Senates der Stadt Messina aus.

Die Sammlung besteht aus zahlreichen Variationen über bekannte Tänze und Melodien der Epoche, unter anderem der Passacaille, Ciacona, Passamezzo, Pastorale, Romanesca, Spagnoletta und dem Thema "la Monica".
