Avago Technologies ist ein amerikanisches Unternehmen, welches vor seinem Spin-off der Produktbereich Halbleiter von HP und später Agilent war. Es besitzt mehr als 2.000 Patente.

Spin-Off

2005 wurde die Agilent Technologies Semiconductor Products Group durch Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) und Silver Lake Partners akquiriert und so zu einer unabhängigen Gesellschaft. Heute ist Avago einer der größten im Privatbesitz befindlichen Halbleiterhersteller mit ungefähr 6.500 Mitarbeitern.

2006 kaufte PMC-Sierra den Bereich für Halbleiter-Speicher von Avago.

Produkte

Avago Technologies stellt Produkte für Analogtechnik, Mixed-Signal und Optoelektronik her und beliefert mehr als 40.000 Kunden. Seine FBAR-Filter werden in Mobiltelefonen und WLANs eingesetzt.
