Cota Bo’ot (Cotabot, Gotabot) ist ein osttimoresisches Dorf im Suco Cota Bo’ot (Subdistrikt Bobonaro, Distrikt Bobonaro).

Der Ort

Cota Bo’ot liegt im Westen des Sucos auf einer Höhe von 1.451 m über dem Meer.

Der Suco

Im Suco leben 571 Einwohner (2010,[2] 2004: 309[4]). Der Suco liegt im Nordosten des Subdistrikts Bobonaro und hat eine Fläche von 12,43 km².[1] Im Norden liegt der Suco Colimau, im Westen Tebabui und im Südwesten Carabau. Im Süden liegt der zum Distrikt Cova Lima gehörende Subdistrikt Zumalai mit seinem Suco Ucecai. Östlich liegt der Suco Mau-Ulo (Subdistrikt Ainaro, Distrikt Ainaro).

Die größeren Siedlungen liegen alle im Westen des Sucos an der Überlandstraße, die nach Norden Richtung Gleno und weiter bis Tibar führt. Dies sind neben Cota Bo’ot die Dörfer Aimeta und Oboe.[5] Die nächstgelegene Grundschule liegt im benachbarten Carabau.[6]

Im Suco befinden sich die zwei Aldeias Aimeta und Oboe.[7]

Politik

Bei den Wahlen von 2004/2005 wurde Lourenço Maia zum Chefe de Suco gewählt[8] und 2009 in seinem Amt bestätigt.[9]
