Imerys ist ein französisches Unternehmen mit Hauptsitz in Paris. Es ist in den Bereichen Bergbau und Herstellung von Baustoffen tätig.

Imerys produziert unter anderem Kaolinit, Perlit, Kieselgur, Graphit und Calciumcarbonat.

Das Unternehmen wurde 1880 gegründet und trug viele Jahre den Firmennamen 'Imetal'. 1999 wurde das britische Unternehmen English China Clays erworben und die Firmierung des Gesamtunternehmens in Imerys geändert.[3]

2005 übernahm Imerys vom US-amerikanischen Unternehmen Allegheny Technologies die Tochtergesellschaft World Minerals.

Imerys ist mehrheitlich im Besitz der Pargesa Holding(27,4%)[4] und der von Pargesa kontrollierten GBL (30,7%)[5].
