Der Fluss Shigar (دریائے شگر) befindet sich in der Region Gilgit-Baltistan im Norden von Pakistan. Er entsteht aus dem Zusammenfluss von Basha und Braldu. Der Basha entspringt dem Chogolungma-Gletscher im Nordwesten, der Braldu kommt von Osten und führt das Schmelzwasser von Baltoro-, Biafo- und Panmah-Gletscher. Der Shigar mit einer Länge von 62 Kilometern mündet bei Skardu in den Indus.[1][2]

Es gibt einen weiteren Fluss mit dem Namen Shigar (South) River, der bei Marol unterhalb von Skardu in den Indus fließt.[2],
